Proti Island serves as the prologue to Titan Quest 2 introducing players to the game s core mechanics and narrative While it s a relatively small area it contains some optional content and mini quests that though not tracked in a traditional quest log offer valuable rewards One of the first such quests players will encounter involves a talking item known as the Strange Jar This guide will walk you through the process of helping the Strange Jar and detail the rewards you ll receive for completing this mini quest Titan Quest 2 Where to Take the Strange JarWhat to Do with the Strange JarThe Strange Jar is found in a small clearing near the Proti Village Outskirts waypoint After you pick it up it will be stored in the Quests tab of your Repository Inventory so it won t take up any space in your main bag Your task is to take the jar to the Altar of Hermes From the Waypoint Begin by following the path southwest from the Proti Village Outskirts waypoint Reach the Beach The path will lead you to a beach with a destroyed boat and a few crabs Find the Cave Follow the beach north until you find the entrance to a cave Through the Cave Travel through the cave The spiders inside are only level 3 and should pose no threat regardless of your character s progress Locate the Altar The cave will lead to a second clearing Here the Strange Jar will begin talking again indicating that you have found the altar The Altar of Hermes is located in the bottom left corner of this second clearing Complete the Quest Interact with the altar to place the Strange Jar down The jar will speak to Hermes but receive no response You will receive your reward at this point There is no benefit to standing around and listening to the jar s monologue other than a potential bit of lore that it might be Hermes s brother trapped inside Rewards for Helping the Strange Jar #TitanQuest2 #xboxplaygames
